AZ&B prepared the City of Arlington’s solid waste management plan. The plan required a comprehensive needs assessment, an evaluation of options for managing future waste streams, and specific strategies developed for waste reduction, recycling, and ultimate disposal. The City also had AZ&B prepare an updated plan approximately ten years after the original was successfully implemented. The development of the plan included working with a citizens advisory committee and making presentations to the general public, as well as the City Council.
