AZ&B provided H&H modeling services for four bridge replacement projects in Lufkin District. One bridge was on-system, the other three were off-system county roads, and ll four crossings were in FEMA Zone ‘A’ floodplains. AZ&B used NRCS TR-20 methodology for peak flow rates. We created existing condition HEC-RAS models as baseline comparisons. Each new bridge was designed using HEC-RAS to ensure no rise in 100-year WSEL outside of the ROW. AZ&B analyzed potential bridge scour at each crossing with HEC-18 methods. For each bridge, we prepared a hydraulic report and hydraulic data PS&E sheets.
