AZ&B designed approximately 1,780 linear feet of 8” sewer main utilizing open-cut construction to allow for the existing lift station to be eliminated. Once the sewer main was completed, the existing lift station was demolished and disposed of properly off site. Approvals and coordination were required for the construction of the sewer main by the City of San Antonio for right-of-way, tree and floodplain development permits, TCEQ, Bexar County for acceptance of the Traffic Control Plan, and approval by the Texas Historical Commission for the Antiquities Permit Application Form for Archeology.
