Arredondo, Zepeda & Brunz, LLC (AZ&B) is a Texas engineering firm providing consulting services for major transportation, transit, environmental, surveying, water, wastewater and construction projects.
We have provided these services to state agencies, local communities, and a variety of businesses throughout Texas for 39 years. Our team possess a wealth of knowledge and expertise to ensure your project’s success. We use a full range of up-to-date equipment to provide LiDAR and other survey services.
Our firm was established in 1981 with four people, and offices in both Dallas and Fort Worth. Over the years, we have grown to 72 employees and six locations, while staying true to our mission and providing the best service to our clients.

Mr. Garza has been directly involved in the design and management of major municipal and transportation projects throughout Texas for over 25 years. He previously worked with international firms including HDR Engineering and ARCADIS before becoming president of Arredondo, Zepeda & Brunz, LLC (AZ&B) in 2010. With Mr. Garza’s broad experience and influential contacts, he is able to connect AZ&B with other firms and build teams with synergy to bring value to our clients.
Mr. Brunz has over 39 years of experience. He spent 24 years in the consultant sector and the remainder in the governmental sector. Mr. Brunz has gained extremely valuable knowledge in various areas of the planning, design and implementation phases of public and private construction projects. As Vice President, Mr. Brunz’s responsibilities include cost control maintenance, client communication, contractual adherence, quality control, affirmative action oversight, and engineering guidance and direction.
During his 39 year experience in this industry, Mr. Zepeda has gained extensive experience in the planning, design, feasibility studies, construction and project management for transportation, general civil and environmental projects. He has been involved in the design, project supervision/coordination and quality control of roadways, pavements, commercial and industrial facilities, landfills, drainage systems, water supply, sewage infrastructure, pipelines, utilities and environmental projects. His construction experience includes the management, scheduling, inspection and construction control of major civil works projects.
Mr. Carleton has program environmental and energy management experience with projects . His background includes environmental planning and permitting for large, controversial projects throughout Texas. His range of experiences includes conducting environmental site assessments, conducting alternative energy facility studies and, managing complex and controversial environmental facility site selections and permitting projects through local agencies and the TCEQ.
Mr. Brown joined our team as the new Director of Surveying. Heath brings 14 years of surveying expertise in municipal, industrial, TxDOT, FEMA, and residential development projects. Heath received a Bachelor of Surveying and Mapping at University of Texas at Tyler and an Associates of Applied Sciences of Surveying and Mapping at Tyler Junior College. Mr. Brown is a member of the Texas Society of Professional Surveyors and Toastmasters International.
